THE MOST POPULAR PERSON IN SCHOOL (MY SPM ESSAY)

The essay  may not exactly the same as i wrote in my SPM, but i think i can recall it and added few spices into it. Enjoy!

Every single school on the face of the earth certainly have the popular kids. They could be from any clique; cheerleaders, quarterbacks, soccer player, the nerd, the geeks, named it. Popularity is a quality that certain people have which makes them well liked and recognized by others for specific reason. As for my school, we also got this one popular person, a guy to be exact. Why do I bother writing something about him? You'll get the answer later at the end of this scribbling. Well, popularity is certainly something that you can catch from someone who already has it, and if popularity is a disease, i want to get infected by it.

Merong Mahawangsa. Such a unique and weird name of the beholder. Well, it happens that this so called Merong is the most popular guy in my school and the apple of teacher's eye, not to mention the hottest guy in school! Every girls adores him. Well, excluding me i guess. He has the fair russet skin that shines under the sunlight, and hazel dazzling eyes that penetrates could penetrates the woman's heart. His velvety voice charms the crowd and his ideal height is a bonus for him. Who wouldn't want him to be their friends or boyfriend? Even the guys get along with him because he is a cool and nice guy.

Not only blessed with the "Perfect Guy" package, he also has charming attitude and always generous to help others in need, especially in terms of study. Additional Mathematics and Mathematics is his cup of tea. He even did some extra lessons with us in our free time. Not to forget, teachers always turn to him for help because he is likeable and lovable person. No wonder he is the most popular person in school. In addition, he never gets detention or involves in any disciplinary problem. His record is clean and flawless.

To add up his popularity, he is also the best chess player in the school. He represented the school up till the national level. In co-curricular activities, he is the champions for three years in a row for cross country competition. Furthermore, he is striker in the school soccer team, and also the Captain of the Yellow House. His leadership is undeniable and it is proven by the fact that the Yellow House is constantly on the top the whole year. Now i ask you, who wouldn't be popular if they got all these factors?

Well, if you still remember i did mentioned that i will tell you why i am so enthusiastic in writing all these facts about Merong. Actually, he is my boyfriend. Did you buy it? I lied. I told you i didn't attracted to him. At least, not as a special boyfriend though. He is actually my stepbrother. When i was in Form 3 my parent divorced. I followed my mother and she ended up loving and married with Merong's father, which is my stepfather now. Never in a lifetime i think that Merong would be my stepbrother. God, he is a blessing from heaven! He is a good stepbrother. He helps me study and care for me. Being his little sister is more than i could've asked already. I loved him and my stepfather instantly!

As you see, i am the anonymous before in my school. I am not popular, the opposite of Merong. But since Merong become my stepbrother, i become from zero to hero! Suddenly everyone notices me, befriend with me. Even some of them only get close to me to know about Merong, but i didn't care. I guess, my wish do come true. Thanks Merong, you already infected me with your popularity virus. And don't worry, i don't want a cure for it.
